#100 Sultanahmet - Istanbul

In contrast to Balat, Sultanahmet is dominated by huge historic palaces and mosques, and wide open spaces. The grand palace with it's harem have a huge amount of historic interest, that deserved more time than I could give it - but this set of images hopefully captures some of the contrast of this area with others in Istanbul
