A new year camp in the saddle between Pen-Y-Fan and Cribyn. It's a long uphill hike from the car park past the summits to this spot. The wind in the saddle was extremely strong so I found a slightly sheltered if hilly spot to avoid the enslaught. Could hear the wind coming through the grasses before slapping into the tent, all night. Dense fog meant no sunrise or sunset, to the disappointent of the hundreds of people waiting at the summit when I returned past. Amazing spot that I'd like to go back to in clear still weather. Bit of a damp squib in these conditions though!
